TIPS FOR SELLING YOUR HOME


When you go to list your home here are a very things to consider for potential clients and maximizing the value of your home.


1. Curb Appeal matters so make the exterior of your home the best it has ever been
2. Clean up the clutter in principal rooms. If you have to store things put them in the garage or basement in an organized manner. Try to let the rooms speak with less objects
3. Put on a fresh cost of paint and minor redecoration if needed
4. Replace all bulbs and fix leaky faucets
5. Make the space look big and open and move furniture if need be
6. Clean out your closets and highlight any storage space
7. Make your bathrooms sparkle, repair caulking, clean up and display your best towels
8. Create dream bedrooms. Make them look spacious and cozy
9. Let the sun shine in, turn on the lights and open up the curtains
10. Turn on your exterior lights at night to add color and warmth if anyone drives by
11. Watch your pets or take them off site for a period of time
12. Put on classical or jazz music and create warm smells
13. Keep a low profile and don’t talk to potential buyers
14. Don’t sell your furniture or appliances to potential buyers. Let them only consider the home and not distract them with other details
15. Defer questions to your realtor about price, terms, offer and even neighbourhood. Any prospective buyer will be looking for information to negotiate.
